"a minimalistic approach to make getting dressed a breeze"
This maternity capsule is designed of items to fit you through your pregnancy. It’ll make you feel good about your growing curves, and reduce your decision-making muscle to save on more important things (like where to go on a babymoon).
5 TIPS + TRICKS TO KEEP IN MIND
1. Begin by assessing which items in your wardrobe you will be able to wear through some of your pregnancy + WANT to wear. This is important because if you dont feel great about the items you're wearing you wont feel great when wearing them.
Keep in mind that loose-fitting tops, oversized sweaters, cardigans, blazers and even several button-up shirts from your existing wardrobe may work throughout your pregnancy.
2. Remove what you know won’t fit from your closet. This will make getting dressed so much easier—I can’t tell you how many times I tried to squeeze into a top that I thought would work, only to be disappointed. Just pack those things away or put in a guest room closet for the next nine months. You'll be back for them!
3. Fill in the gaps. Print + View our Maternity Capsule Checklist to easily see what you have and what you want to get ASAP!
4. Pick pieces in a cohesive color palette that you can easily mix and match.
5. Sub in and out accessories as you please. our capsule maternity wardrobe offers accessory + shoe suggestions but these are parts that you can make truly unique to you!

1. Find pieces that are flattering
Dressing a pregnant you is a lot different than dressing a regular you. Those high-waisted jeans and crop tops just don't have the same appeal with a baby bump. Not to mention it might be impossible depending on how far along you are. Choose items that flatter your bump, whether it's a peplum top or a more fitted silhouette. You can definitely go with roomier dresses but you might want to add a belt to accentuate your bump. You don't want people to question whether or not you're pregnant or just had a few too many burritos
2. Go for Comfort
Now is not your time to suck it up in heels and uncomfortable outfits. Choose shoes with a manageable heel, or just reach for those flats! As your body is changing so does the fit of your clothes. While you might be able to find some non-maternity outfits that work, chances are you'll need to invest in some good maternity basics, like tees and jeans.
3. Get Creative With Accessories
While you might not want to invest in those expensive maternity jeans, that designer handbag will work during and after your pregnancy. Take pregnancy as an opportunity to play up the accessories and add unique touches to your outfits. Even if you're just in a tee and jeans, you can add a flowy kimono cardigan, cute sandals, and a wide brim hat.

10 MATERNITY ESSENTIALS TO NAIL CHIC & COMFY BABY BUMP STYLE
Now for the fun part: Here are 10 maternity essentials that are great building blocks to begin carving out a comfortable, flattering & versatile maternity wardrobe.
Brrrrr, it's cold outside! When you are pregnant and getting dressed to battle the winter weather, you want to make sure your look is both cute and cozy. Rather than buy loads of new clothes, take a look at which of these maternity staples you should get and how to wear the ones you probably already have hanging in your closet.
Piling on the layers is always essential in the winter months, especially when your body temperature is fluctuating because of pregnancy. To get into maternity layering, you should stock up on maternity t-shirts with various necklines, colours and styles. 100% cotton tops are always a good idea and are kind to your skin. If you prefer a tighter fit, try a cotton blend with a bit of stretch. Its a good idea to buy extra long t-shirts too, so that they can see you through into your second trimester.
Ponchos and Sweater Dresses
Ponchos are perfect for maternity winter dressing, as they are like wearing a huge cozy blanket! They drape nicely around your body and baby bump. Sweater dresses are also great for dressing your growing bump.
Jeans and Trousers
Maternity jeans are a must, but there are many other trousers and pants out there that are super stylish. With many styles to choose from, including skinny cords and leather leggings, they can be a great way to look festive when paired with a smart top or even a basic tee. Invest in something with a waist that can expand, so they can grow with you and you can get more for your money. Styles with a full stretch panel can be really comfy and lycra will give you plenty of stretch.
Wrap up warm in an oversized cardigan, what could be more cozy? While lying on the sofa relaxing or going out for a coffee, an oversized cardigan is great for layering too.
A shirt dress will look great over leggings and can be layered. Stylish yet comfortable the shirt dress is something you will be able to wear for work or for relaxing at the weekends.
Something you will need is a warm winter coat. From smart to casual there are so may looks you can go for. Get something with a tie waist so that it will be able to grow with you and expand as your growing bump will.
Cute Pjs & Loungewear
At Christmas you really need some cute pjs to wear. From comfy cotton tops with long or short sleeves with matching pants, you can get a whole range in a variety of colours. Plaid is a great look for the winter too.
Pom Beanies & Hats
You know my obsession with pom beanies, and I’m actually quite particular with how they should fit! I like them to have a little slouch, and I love for the pom to be a different color (is that weird? Haha, just a personal preference!). Wearing hats in the winter is essential to staying warm, and I refuse to leave the house without one (which is probably why I have so many?).

Lets face it most days we roll out of bed and wish there was a magic button we could push and then poof (enter dramatic noise here) we would be dressed and ready to start the day. Unfortunately that invention has yet to be pitched on shark tank or surface on Amazon.
Luckily, our team has curated a collection of sweaters this season that makes it almost that easy to get dressed for the day. Staying true to the busy lives our customers lead, our collection brings versatility, comfort, and sweater shapes suitable to flatter every body type. So while we wait on that magic button, here are our top 4 sweater styles you don't want to be without.
THE DRAPE FRONT SWEATER:
Our drape front sweater styles are by far our best sellers. This year we expanded our Hamptons knit sweater (2nd image) collection from 2 colors to 6! This sweater is amazing for new moms who are nursing because of the drape front style. The sweater is lightweight so you can wear it now, layer it in the winter, and keep it rotating in your wardrobe when we shift to spring. Our favorite color is the oatmeal. It seriously goes with everything!
THE OFF SHOULDER SWEATER
Our Freebird Sweater checks the box on our list for must have fall sweaters. It is long enough to wear solo and looks awesome with leggings. The off Shoulder style gives those shoulders a little room to breathe as you move about the day. We love that it is oversized but at the same time, not too oversized to make us look bulky!
CHUNKY KNIT SWEATERS
Turtlenecks are especially trendy but any beautiful knit will do. They look great layered over skinny jeans or leggings and best of all no jacket required
THE BELL-SLEEVE SWEATER
So I know many people live for summer but I am a hermit in the summer. I don't leave the warehouse I don't like the heat but when its fall - all bets are off! Living in PA I love some good apple cider and a good pumpkin spice latte but what I truly love the most is the fashion!! The velvet, the suede, the leather it can all get pretty overwhelming when buying for the boutique.
In Today's Post I'm excited to share with you guys our new fall collection: Shine Bright. This collective blends an array of rich textures and festive hues into timeless silhouettes.
You can click the images below to check out these amazing products or you can click this link and explore the whole collection!
What Trends are You Guys Loving for Fall??
One thing we love most about fall are the cozier and more distinct fabrics. Velvet was big last year and we were so happy to see it resurface itself even bigger this year. This luxurious textile is the epitome of autumn style.
Satin is one of fall's most desired fabrics. Wether its slips or separates , the trend imbues sophistication with minimal effort
3. DUSTY PINK
We are embracing a slightly fresher palette to blend in and soften up our earthy fall hue go tos. This pretty rosy pink is great splashed on a duster cardigan (see below) or as a substitute for your normal go to camel peacoat.
4. FALL FLORALS
After all whats fashion without a little fun with florals!
5. DRAMATIC SLEEVES
From dramatic wizard sleeves and baby bells to split sleeves and poofy cuffs, there’s really no wrong way to wear this trend. We didn't get to fancy or futuristic on you but we do have this trend subtly popping up on blouses and dresses. Wear it solo or layer it under a jacket
